Get paid to make short videos.
- $20 for every video you post on TikTok. Cross-post to Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Facebook too, it can only help your bonus.
- Up to $800 more when a video passes 1M views.
- Make as many as you want. Every single one gets paid.
Documented is the campaign you’d start on. Takes about five minutes, and we read every application ourselves.
Paid whether or not it pops. The base is for the work.
There’s no limit on how many you post. Every video earns its base, and every video can hit a bonus. Creators who post consistently make the most here.
- $60
- $200
- $500
- $800
Bonuses don’t stack. 500K pays the 500K number, not every tier below it added up.
One video, one post, one bonus. Paid on your best single post, never the sum across however many places you posted it.
Paid monthly. Your statement closes at month end, money goes out within seven days.
What the app is
Documented keeps a private, timestamped record of what happened. It’s built for people in co-parenting and custody situations The missed exchange nobody wrote down, the text that got screenshotted and then lost somewhere in a camera roll.
Every entry is sealed the moment you save it. Sealed means tamper-evident: the entry can’t be edited afterwards, and it’s verified in a SHA-256 chain. You can attach photos, receipts, voice notes and screenshots to it.
It stays on the phone. Nothing is shared unless the person exports it. When they do, they get a clean record, organised the way attorneys present evidence and ready to hand to their attorney.

Swipe through the app, or see it for yourself at documented.co.
Who Documented is for
This is who you’re making videos for. A parent, usually a few months into a custody dispute. Exhausted, not litigious. Their problem isn’t that they want to fight. It’s that nobody believes them and they can’t prove anything.
Two things follow from that, and they change how you make the video:
They are not enjoying this
Content that treats a custody dispute as entertainment reads as cruel, and it will get you ratioed. Polarise on the problem: that part is universally relatable and already divisive, and it's where the engagement lives.
They may not engage publicly
People in this situation often won't like, comment or follow, because it's visible to their ex. Expect engagement to run lower than other niches. That's the audience, not your video failing.
You won’t be figuring this out alone.
Never made this kind of video before? That’s fine, and it’s not a disadvantage here. We hand you the playbook and you film. No guessing at what might land.
The formats that work
The specific video types that perform for this app, with example videos to model. Built from real numbers, not opinions.
The hooks to open with
The first three seconds decide everything. You get the openers that hold, written out, ready to use.
What to say, and what not to
This app touches a legal process, so some phrases are off-limits. You get the list before you film, not after.
An answer the same day
Stuck on an idea, or unsure whether a line is allowed? Ask. You get a real answer before you post, not a review afterwards.
What you get
Free full access to the app
A TestFlight build while we're pre-launch. Use it for a few days before you film anything. The content is better when you've actually used it, and it shows when you haven't.
The brief
Who the audience is, what to dramatise, and exactly what you can and can't say about the app. Written down, not guessed at.
The playbook
You are not handed an app and left to work it out. You get the formats that are working, the hooks to open with, and example videos to model. We build it from real numbers rather than guesses, and you have it before you film.
The agreement, before you film
Your rate, the bonus ladder and when you get paid. In writing, signed, nothing about it vague.
Claim answers before you post
This app touches a legal process, so some phrases are off-limits. Ask and you'll get an answer the same day. Fixing a bad claim after the fact can mean pulling the video.
First refusal on what's next
More apps launch through the year. You apply once and never reapply.
Questions
Not on the App Store yet, which is why we are recruiting now. You get a TestFlight build, film during the run-up, and post when it goes live. If you would rather wait until launch, apply anyway and say so.
No. Follower count is not the filter. We watch the accounts you give us on the application, and this niche rewards people who sound like they have lived it over people with reach.
TikTok is the one that pays your base rate. Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Facebook are optional: post there too if you want, since your bonus is measured on whichever single post does best, wherever it lands. Either way, it is one video, not four.
No, and please do not. Say “this app”. Naming it out loud triggers a viewer's ad-detection instantly, and “link in bio” is the clearest ad-tell there is. The name goes in a pinned comment. Where the platform or the law requires a paid partnership to be declared, declare it with the platform's own branded content toggle.
As many as you want. There is no cap, no quota, and no limit on how many can hit a bonus. This is not a one-off shoot: the creators who do best here treat it as an ongoing thing and post consistently, because every video earns its base and every video has a shot at the ladder.
A flat rate per video, plus a bonus if one takes off. Your statement closes at the end of the month and payment goes out within seven days of it. Not thirty, and not when a client pays us.
You still get the base for it. The base is for the work and it does not depend on the numbers; bonuses are upside, not a quota. Expect engagement in this niche to run lower than others. People in a custody dispute often will not like or comment, because it is visible to their ex.
We’re taking a small first group.
Follower count isn’t the filter. Give us your accounts and we’ll watch the work.
